Pat Robertson proposed (although he now denies it) the assassination of a known political dictator, an open enemy of freedom. There’s nothing wrong with proposing the assassination of a known dictator. You don’t have to agree that this is a good use of American resources; but there’s nothing wrong with expressing this opinion. Dictators are cruel, unfeeling, and ruthless people. If they kill and otherwise violate the basic individual rights of their victims, they deserve to die. None of us should pretend otherwise.
